Biographical Note for LIGAMENT OF ZINN

Zinn \ˈtsin\ , Johann Gottfried (1727–1759), German anatomist and botanist. Zinn was a professor of medicine and director of the botanical gardens at Göttingen. In 1755 he published a monograph on the anatomy of the human eye. It included the first accurate descriptions of the ligament of Zinn and the zonule of Zinn.
